Bakuon!! Motorcycle TV Anime Main Cast Revealed

The new promotional video for the upcoming anime Bakuon!! finally unveiled the main cast for the show. The promo video was posted in the official website of the TV anime on Friday. Bakuon!! is a motorcycle TV anime based from Mimana Orimoto’s manga series of the same title.

The cast for Bakuon!! anime is as follows:

Reina Ueda as protagonist Hane Sakura (her bike is a Honda CB400 SF)

Nao Tōyama as Rin Suzunoki (her bike is a Suzuki GSX400S Katana)

Yumi Uchiyama as Onsa Amano (her bike is a Yamaha SEROW225W)

Rikako Yamaguchi as Hijiri Minowa (her bike is a Ducati 750SS)

The website also revealed a character design for Raimu Kawasaki (her bike is a Kawasaki ZX-12R):

The website of the show also revealed that performing the ending theme song of Bakuon!! are the voice actresses: Ueda, Toyama, Uchiyama, and Yamaguchi.

The story revolves around high school girls who discover the appeal of motorcycles. Hane Sakura is a high school student who looks a little bit like an airhead. On the way to her all-female high school one day, she is worn-out climbing a hilly road with a bicycle, but she sees a girl named Onsa Amano who is riding a motorcycle. Sakura immediately becomes interested in motorcycles, and she and Onsa join the motorcycle club at the school. Then, Sakura sets out to get her license.

Bakuon!! TV anime is directed by Junji Nishimura at TMS Entertainment while in-charge of the series scripts is Kurasumi Sunayama.  Providing the character designs is Isao Sugimoto with Manabu Nii credited for the sub-character design. Credited for design works are Yasuhiro Moriki and Yoshio Mizumura. In charge of the art direction is Shunichiro Yoshiharawhile handling the sound direction is Takeshi Takadera. Bakuon!! music is composed by Ryosuke Nakanishi.

The anime will premiere this April 2016 on several TV channels such as Tokyo MX, Sun TV, BS11, etc.
